Joyce B. Calvin is an author, mentor, speaker, ordained minister, and coach to women CEO’s. She is also an innovative, self-aware and evolved introvert. Joyce utilizes her specialized gathering and connecting abilities to show emerging female executives how to make their brands even more successful, impactful and sustainable. For more than eighteen (18) years Joyce has provided one-on-one coaching, on-site workshops with content aimed at showing nonprofit executives how to develop: meaningful mission and vision statements; corporation documents; ministry plans; brand identity; and effective marketing strategies and tools.

 Joyce is also the owner of Joyce B. Calvin Enterprises, a coaching business designed to provide coaching strategies to female executives to help them launch successful, impactful, and sustainable para-church or non-profit organizations.

 Joyce is also the founder and Executive Director of Women of Valor Ministry and President of Women in Ministry & Business Alliance (WIMBA), a coalition of Christian women entrepreneurs and ministry leaders. Joyce is passionate about helping women realize what God is able to accomplish in them once they are willing to step outside of their comfort zones. Joyce has shared her passion and story through radio and television appearances. She has also mentored and mobilized countless women leaders, and has helped them to develop their spiritual gifts, find and pursue their purpose, and embrace their destiny.

 A survivor of domestic violence; Joyce served as project coordinator for the All Faiths against Domestic Violence Project where she assisted in the development and writing of a training curriculum for clergy/lay leaders; Responding to Domestic Violence: An Interfaith Guide to Prevention & Intervention. In 2012, she received the Allstate Give Back Day Hero award for her work in educating and providing training to faith based community leaders on Domestic Violence issues that impact faith communities and was also featured on BET Television.

 Joyce has published three books: Sister to Sister Support for the Abused Woman: Beauty for Ashes; Understanding Your Spiritual Gifts: The Next Dimension; and Women’s Ministries: How to Make Them Successful, Impactful, and Sustainable.
